Accept donations directly through your Solo site with Donately

Donately is an online fundraising platform that allows you to embed donation forms on your website. With this integration, visitors can easily make contributions without leaving your site—helping you streamline donations and grow support for your cause.

To use this integration in Solo, your website must be connected to a custom domain.

Step 1: Get Your Donately Embed Code

1. Sign in to your Donately account or create one.
2. In your dashboard, go to Forms. Note: You must be on a Legacy, Starter, Team, or Enterprise plan to access embed features. Upgrade if you’re on the Free tier.
3. Choose the donation form you’d like to embed.
4. Click Share.
5. Scroll to the section titled Embed your form in your Website.
6. Select the Simple Script option.
7. Copy the provided embed code.

Step 2: Add the Code to Your Solo Website

1. Visit the designer
2. In the top toolbar, click [Settings]
3. In the Settings right sidebar, scroll down, and toggle on Custom code
4. In the modal that appears, you can add your custom code (e.g. <script>)
5. Click [Save]
6. In the top right toolbar, click [Publish]

Once published, your Donately form should appear on your live site. If it doesn’t show up immediately, refresh the page and double-check the code was added correctly.
