How do I set up Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager for my website?
You can connect a Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager property to track analytical data from visitors to your website (e.g. number of visitors, number of clicks on a button, and more...).
To set up Google Tag Manager, you must connect a custom domain to your website first and then follow the same instructions below.
- Visit the designer
- Click
Settingsin the top toolbar - In the Settings right sidebar, scroll down, and click
Configureunder Website settings -> Google Analytics - In the Google Analytics modal that appears, add your Google Analytics Measurement ID (G-123456789) or your Google Tag Manager ID (GTM-123456789)
- Click
Save - In the right of the top toolbar, click
Publish

It can take 5-10 minutes before data starts appearing on Google Analytics. You will want to refresh your published Solo website to make sure there is traffic and data for Google to see.
- If you have enabled the cookie banner feature on your website, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager will not load until the user accepts the use of cookies. If they decline, that page visit will not be recorded into Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager since they require cookies to work.
- If you have setup custom events on your Google Analytics 4 dashboard, they will be captured only if you have connected a custom domain to your website.
