What image sizes and formats are recommended?

For uploading images into your Solo website, we suggest the following:

• 2000 x 2000 pixels for square or circular images (1:1)
• 2000 x 1500 pixels for landscape images (4:3)
• 2000 x 1125 pixels for wide images (16:9)
• 1500 x 2000 pixels for portrait images (3:4)

Note: The Gallery section presents images in landscape (4:3) aspect ratio. The Article section includes a unique presentation in wide (16:9) aspect ratio.

Website images: .jpg, .gif (including animated gifs), .png, and .webp

Logo: .jpg, .gif (including animated gifs), and .png (transparent .png is recommended). More about using logos

Also note, image upload may fail in some countries where Google Cloud is blocked. Solo uses Google Cloud to host your images for your Solo website.
