How to edit my domain DNS records

For a domain you bought through Solo, you can view and add your own DNS records.

  1. Open the designer.
  2. Click the account menu at the top right, then click Manage Domains.
  3. Open your domain and go to the DNS Records tab.

Solo manages and locks three records so your site keeps working: the A, CNAME, and TXT records. You can't edit those.

You can add your own records, for example:

  • MX records to use the domain for email.
  • Other records as needed (A, AAAA, CNAME, SRV, and so on).

TTL controls how long a record is cached, from 300 to 86,400 seconds. Leave the default unless you have a reason to change it.
