How to edit my domain DNS records
For a domain you bought through Solo, you can view and add your own DNS records.
- Open the designer.
- Click the account menu at the top right, then click Manage Domains.
- Open your domain and go to the DNS Records tab.
Solo manages and locks three records so your site keeps working: the A, CNAME, and TXT records. You can't edit those.
You can add your own records, for example:
- MX records to use the domain for email.
- Other records as needed (A, AAAA, CNAME, SRV, and so on).
TTL controls how long a record is cached, from 300 to 86,400 seconds. Leave the default unless you have a reason to change it.
